Have you always dreamed of crossing the finish line of a 5k but didn't know where to start? Or perhaps you're looking to restart your running journey? Maybe you just want to start moving with a group. Join us by registering for our RunWalk Arkansas 9 week clinic to help guide you every step of the way and finish with our 5K celebration.
What's Included: * Kick-Off Party * 9 weeks of group-led training sessions. * Personalized coaching for all fitness levels by leaders who started just like you. * Supportive Community of fellow walkers/runners. * Proven tips and techniques to build stamina and prevent injuries by group leaders.
Clinic Details: * Kick off Party *March 3rd at 6pm at Ben Geren Park Storm Shelter. We highly recommend attending this party to meet your group leaders, get answers to questions about shoes, clothing, safety gear, clinic details, etc. Snacks will be available, and door prizes will be given. * Clinic - March 10 to May 8, Every Monday and Thursdays @ 6pm.* Training will take place at Ben Geren Regional Park* The Barracks at Chaffee (7300 Ellis St) will host the 5K and finish line party on Saturday May 10th @ 7am.
But wait that's not all! With the clinic you are registered for the 5k celebration, so with your newfound skills you will be able to proudly cross the finish line.
The clinic and 5k package are $40 includes *9 week of guided training * 5k entry * official race t-shirt *Finishers Medal * Post race party with refreshments and option to purchase training gear!
The 5k is $30 includes *5k entry * Finishers Medal * and race t-shirt * Post race party with refreshments ** Price will increase to $40 day of race.
Kids Fun Run before the 5K event $15 ages 12 and under includes official race t-shirt and special kids medal.
